Counselling offers a space where you can speak openly, be truly heard, and begin to make sense of what you’re going through – without fear of judgement.
Many people hold back, believing they should cope alone, or feeling uncertain about what they might uncover. But grief, loss, and emotional pain don’t simply pass on their own. They shape how we see ourselves and the world around us.
Counselling is a chance to sit with those feelings in safety – to understand them, process them, and find a way forward that feels real and possible for you.
We begin with a free phone or video call so you can get a feel for how I work and ask any questions you have. There's no pressure - it's simply a chance to see if we're a good fit.
2nd - Building Trust and Connection:
In the early sessions, we create a safe, non-judgemental space where you can speak freely. The relationship between us is at the heart of everything - you'll never be rushed or pushed.
3rd - Personalised Counselling:
Every session is shaped around you. Together, we explore what you're experiencing and work gently toward understanding, acceptance, and a way forward that feels authentic.
4th - Ongoing Support:
Sessions are 50 minutes and typically take place weekly. Consistency allows us to go deeper and creates the conditions for real, meaningful change.
About Me
I’m Steve Duffy, a Counsellor with a PG Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy and a genuine passion for supporting people through some of life’s most difficult moments.
My work is rooted in the belief that being truly heard – without judgement – can be transformative. I create a warm, safe space where you can explore what’s happening for you at your own pace, whether that’s processing grief and loss, making sense of life’s changes, or simply asking yourself what you really want from this one life.
I bring warmth, kindness, and real care into every session. My goal is always the same: to help you move from pain and confusion toward a place of acceptance, clarity, and renewed possibility.
Whether online or in-person, you’ll find a warm, grounded, and welcoming environment – a place where you can slow down, speak freely, and begin to heal.
